I hold an MSc and Ph.D. in Architecture and Urban Planning from Belgrade University and received a postgraduate non-degree education from SPURS MIT and Harvard GSD. I was the first female architect and later director of the Centre for Urban Development Planning, CEP, then worked in the Belgrade City Architect office and Urban Planning Institute of Belgrade, where I was appointed General Director between 2008-2012. As a consultant, I was engaged in EU, WB, and UN projects, and recently in the position of GFA SEE Team Leader in a part of the WB program Green, Livable, Resilient Cities in Serbia.
My designs, studies, and plans received acknowledgments and awards in urban design competitions, including the Belgrade Master Plan in 2009. I am a European Prize for Urban Public Space 2024 Jury member. As a part of the team, I participated in preparing the City of Belgrade Development Strategy in 2011 and 2016 and in developing national housing and architectural strategies. I am actively engaged in professional associations of architects and urban planners, organizing national and international professional events and C2C cooperations with the cities of Barcelona and Vienna (2007-2012).
