A Wilhelminian-style city apartment was converted to meet the needs of young residents and transformed into a contemporary, open-plan apartment. The entire floor was made of seamless terrazzo, while the walls of polished plaster provide a soft counterpart and create an almost Mediterranean ambience. New metal elements such as the kitchen or the extra narrow doors in the wet rooms are in pink, while the old style elements of the doors and windows are in gray and green. The kitchen in the south is connected to the living room in the north by a concrete frame so that the two areas flow seamlessly into one another.
