Extension of the Rheindelta Yacht Club building in Fussach

The yacht club's clubhouse is located in the Rhein-Delta on Lake Constance. The existing ground floor building was enlarged and added floors and adapted to the increased needs. In a respectful treatment of the existing building, the new floor was constructed using sustainable wood, which not only resulted in an ecologically compatible solution but also an appealing aesthetic.
The entire cubature of the building was clad with harmonious 3D spruce formwork, which gives the clubhouse a uniform and attractive appearance. This design measure fits seamlessly into the surroundings and shows the building's connection to the natural delta landscape on Lake Constance.
To expand the range of functions, new sanitary cells, changing rooms and a spacious multifunctional room were created, which meet the modern demands of a yacht club. In addition, storage areas were integrated to ensure efficient use of the space.
Two staircases now lead to the upper floor, one of which provides access to the new roof terrace. From this elevated position there is a breathtaking view of Lake Constance. The roof terrace was deliberately designed as a place for relaxation in order to offer club members and guests a beautiful view and a pleasant atmosphere.
