The competition for a building of the Kapo in Chur was our first competition where sustainability was the main focus. Together with sustainability planners, we developed a building that used sustainability as a design criterion, starting with the positioning, material selection, and spatial arrangement. According to the jury, our project was the most sustainable of all, which they found to be too much. Nevertheless, we were able to secure the third prize.
